Ysyakh is the traditional holiday of the people Sakha representing a meeting of summer, awakening of the nature, blessing association of forces and opportunities of the people for creation, wellbeing and abundance. The Yakut Ysyakh is connected with a cult of solar deities, fertility and begins according to the Yakut calendar since June 22, in the first day of a solstice. During Ysyakh the inner world of the people which by means of ancient, sacred rituals and ceremonies displays a way of life, the moral principles, customs and outlook of the people most fully reveals. During Ysyakh people tend to hold on to traditional festival etiquette.
