A Dutch Delft De Porceleyne Fles plate designed in the Persian style by Adolf le Comte (1850-1921). In 1910 De Porceleyne Fles introduced “Nieuw Delfts” of New Delft to the ceramic market. This plate with a glaze combination of blue, red and turquoise is from a series named “Oud Perzisch” or Old Persian. As this a purely experimental process these plates never went in to full production.
