Leaves vertcillate, acicular leaves 2, Branch leaves 9-14 mm long, 2.1-2.4 mm wide, urface dark, back side silver white, white 2 stomata line. Flowers hermaphrodite, blooms May-Jun, strobile. Fruit cone, cylindrical, length 4-6cm, greenish brown, purplish brown. Type of tree conical. Used as a Christmas tree. Endemic plants on the Korean. Peninsula. Dying of climate change. Preservation is necessary.
