This piece takes part of the work Estudio para catapulta. Its concept approaches the idea of strength and movement, the previous moment, the suspension and the probability of launch of that apparently motionless stone, with the potential of a war projectile. Perhaps the stones are the ones who know best about the subjects that motivate my practice: the transfers, the touches, the traces, the fragmentations, places and time; the bonds, what gravitates, what falls. I am interested in the constructions around the idea of launch and projection; the beauty, strength, and violence implied in that act. My intention is to transform form into action. To transform the action into form. To give form to action. To get to the form from the action.
