The statue depicts Eve turned three quarters and is the work of the sculptor Giovan Angelo Marini, known as the Siciliano (1563-1565). Eve is depicted with the baby Cain and the serpent. It was commissioned to the sculptor Giovan Angelo Marini in 1563 to accompany Cristoforo Solari's work Adam. Before being kept in Milan Duomo Museum, the work was located on the terrace of the southern sacristy.
