From a Window, Wale Street, Cape Town

From a Window, Wale Street, Cape Town was painted by the South African Artist Ruth Prowse (1883-1967). The painting was painted from the building on the corner of Wale and Adderley Street with the fence in the background being the Garden of the South African Museum in Cape Town. The painting was donated to the University of Pretoria by the artist for use by the Art History Department in the 1940s.
