In the Fall-Winter 2015-2016, Kris Ruhs' installation, composed of 45,000 handmade pieces, hosted nearly 40,000 visitors. As the artist said, "It’s got to be peace. If there’s no peace then it’s totally not worth it.
I don’t go through the angst. I don’t put myself through torture to do something. I’m doing it
because I love to do it. I don’t derive pleasure from torturing myself in the middle of it."
