Functional components, organic and industrial elements unfold for the creation of pieces in which design plays a leading role beyond the object’s function. Bordering the limits between art conceived as autonomous and applied/functional art, this work delves into this ambiguous dialectic based on the constructive dynamic and the perceptive potential of the material. In its apparent function, this articulated structure has a woolen weaving that unfolds and develops from its steel rods. These deliberated associations, although can be seen as antagonistic, explore the interstitial zones, the transitional spaces of objects, materials and design, as a form of expression that aims to fill with meaning the support of the artistic object.
