This structure originates from a former homestead in Russów, Żelazków municipality. The peasant granary, known in the local dialect as "sołek," was built from hewn timber with mixed wall construction of varied designs and features a divided interior. It was used for storing bulk products and agricultural tools.
The building is a narrow-fronted, single-storey, free-standing structure with an attic, and lacks a cellar. It is constructed in a rectangular plan. The object is divided into a utility room and a chamber. Larch logs form the walls, which are built using mixed and purlin construction. The roof extends beyond the building, creating an "arcade," a feature characteristic of the architecture in the Kalisz region. The roof is covered with rye straw thatching, and the floor is made of wooden planks.
