Farm measuring machine

Farm measuring machines were included in CIF's industrial machinery catalogues. They were equipped with a "measuring system by peripheral development of the farm on a metric roller, the farm being left in a column on a tray (...) Yield - 2,000 metres/hour".
In this cliché, probably taken during the 1950s inside the new CIF building, we can see, on the left, the framed photograph of the ironer for cotton webs also taken by Casa Alvão.
