Olaokun Soyinka conversed with Clement Abaifouta on his film "Hissene Habre: A Chadian Tragedy". Hissene Habre ruled neighbouring Chad from 1986 untill 1990. His time in power was characterised by injustice and human rights abuses, which included sexual slavery, torture and the killing of over 40,000 Chadians. This documentary is particularly unsettling because the testimonies were recorded while Hissene Habre was on trial. Can justice prevail in Africa?
