A Berlin which is as simply designed as it is elegant with swan-nack chassis and -- particularly characteristic for the late 18th century -- its coachbox suspended on S-springs. Besides the solid design of the chassis, it’s function as a travelling carriage is also indicated by the footman’s bridge which has been extended to a storage surface and the windows hung with patterned wooden blinds. Made in Belgium or Austria. © Monica Kurzel-Runtscheiner, Crane Neck and Gold Crepine.
