This sarcophagus front, attributed to a sculptor from Campione,
has a tripartite structure with a Commendation
of Souls in the presence of Saint Catherine flanked by Saints George and
Victor. It
appears to have entered the Museum in 1950 together with material from the
cloister of San Marco in Milan that had passed into the collection of Villa
Tittoni in Desio.
