Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA)– The Korean-US administrative agreement was signed between David Dean Rusk of the US and Lee Dong-won, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Korea, on Jul 9, 1966. This agreement gave Korea the first judicial rights regarding crimes committed by US soldiers on holidays.
