A Christmas greeting card measuring approximately 9 centimeters by 14 centimeters in length printed in colour. On the front of the card there is an illustrated image with a bird in a tall bird cage situated near a indoor window with curtains. On the base of the bird cage there is a bushel of holly with a large red bow. Below the window there is a small shelf with two potted plants. Through the window in the background there is snow illustrated. Printed on the front of the card there is text that reads: "A Christmas greeting from the warmest corner of my heart."
On the back of the card there is both printed and handwritten text. Some of the handwritten text is illegible, however the legible writing reads: "207 Drummond Street, Brantford Dec. 19/18 Dear...and All We hope this find all of you well - that means a lot - these "flu"-ey times; we are O.K....." The letter goes on to mention something about a new home and concludes with "Wishes and love Martha Elliot." On the right side of the post card it is addressed to "Mr. S. Fry Jordan Ont."
On the top of the back of the post card there is a post office stamp that reads: "Brantford 1pm Dec 20 1918 Ont" There is a rip in the upper right corner that suggests the card had a postage stamp at one point but it has since been removed.
