The heaviest cockroach species in the world whose weight can reach 35g. The body length of an adult giant burrowing cockroach is about 60-90 mm. It takes 5 years to mature and has a life span of 10 years. It is found in tropical parts of Queensland, Australia. It hides in the caves more than 1 meter deep during the daytime and goes out at night, dragging eucalyptus leaves into caves for food.
