The deceased was given bronze pendants, glass beads from a necklace and a richly decorated bronze cloak pin on her way into the afterlife. A knife and a small tube containing needles were also found in the grave. On the tube, fabric remnants have been preserved. The find of a silver denarius with the picture of Louis the Pious shows that the lady of Elstorf has been buried after 814, since denarii of this type ("Christiana Religio") were coined in the period 814-840.
