This sheepskin guri (coat) is a reproduction of a deerskin coat worn by General Nam I-heung around the turn of the 17th century (Important Folklore Material No. 21). The right and left sides of the square-shaped collar are designed to face each other. The overlapping front and back slit are attached by bat-knot buttons. The edges are hemmed with white sheepskin to create contrast.
