HARI HARA BHET OR THE MEETING OF HARI AND HARA. This is a derivative of the Harihara murthi or the Haryarddhamurthi which is conjoint representation of Vishnu and Shiva. Although iconographically they are represented as a single figure, in this print they are shown as different persons with their respective consorts. The only meeting point are the two vehicles (vahans).

In this print by the Ravi Varma Press derived from a painting by Raja Ravi Varma, it is to be noticed that the delineation of the face of the bull and the elephant are merged in such a way that it can be viewed as the face of the bull as also the face of the elephant.
