Small ivory amulet representing an anthropomorphic figure identified as Harpocrates, leaning on a pedestal. The head is covered by a radiata crown, left arm leads to the back and the right is folded over the chest to bring a finger to his mouth.
This character was adapted by the Greeks of the Egyptian god Horus child, which symbolized the rising sun, transforming it into his Hellenistic god known as Harpocrates, an interpretation of Egyptian Har-pa-khered.
This amulet was documented in the extreme northwest of the city of Castulo, in an area where the presence stands a temple or shrine related to the cult to the divinities at least from the orientalising period to the late Roman period.
