Wooden, Hazell's brand, model streamline. The design of the racket was recorded in England in 1935 and the United States in 1937 by F.W. Donisthorpe, former tennis player. The racket was promoted and popularized by English player Bunny Austin. Its popularity derived not only from its innovative and elegant design, but also its lightweight. The Hazell’s firm produced tennis, Badminton and Squash mocks, and was well known in the 1930s in England for producing good quality rackets.
