The Hercules beetle lives in Central America and is mostly found in Colombia. It looks very different from other beetles as it has a very long horn, which takes up nearly half its length and makes it the insect with the longest horn in the world. The body length of males can reach 17.2 cm. There are more than 10 subspecies of the Hercules beetle, which are all brave and beautiful in appearance.
