The man in the hat and boots, almost grotesque forms, standing in front of killed deer, while the dog jumps on him. On the left side with his rifle lies a hung pheasant. In his left hand he holds a bucket for water. The figure is carved on every side.
Mato Generalic was born October 7, 1920 in Hlebine. Brother of Ivan Generalic. He was a farmer who devoted himself to sculpture since 1950. The development of realistic reveals his affinity with the pre-war works of his brother Ivan. His first exhibition was in Hlebine in 1965. He died in Zagreb in 1985.
