Gallery of Naive Art Hlebine was founded in 1968 as a separate department of the Koprivnica Town Museum. It was built according to design of Craotian architect Miroslav Begovic. In the second half of the 20th century Sculpture Park was added in front of the Gallery (1974) and in 1985 new annex with works of Ivan Generalic was opened. Gallery of Naive Art Hlebine is situated in the centre of the village (Hlebine) near Koprivnica on the "source" of Naive Art. The Collection of Naive art has aproximately 1000 museum objects - paintings, sculptures, drawings or graphics. The Gallery has a permanent exhibition which includes authors from First, Second & Third generation of so-called Hlebine School as well as the present followers of this tradition. are Authors that are classified as marginal, at the crossroads of naive and outsider art are particularly interesting part of the Collection. Ivan Generalic's donation from 1980 is also permanantly open for visitors.

Monday - closed
On request, Gallery of Naive Art can be opened before/after working hours.
