Natalie Fossey was born in 1985 in KwaZulu Natal and completed her MA(FA) with cum laude titled, "Sequential Art and Narrative in the prints of Hogarth in Johannesburg (1987) by Robert Hodgins, Deborah Bell and William Kentridge" in the College of Humanities, School of Arts: Centre for Visual Art at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Pietermaritzburg in 2013. Fossey specialises in Fine Art practices in sequential art narratives and collaborative printmaking processes and is currently teaching at the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Pretoria.
