Purplish industrial paper on the cover of the book ROŻANCIUS SZWĘCIAUSIOS MARYOS PANNOS [...] by Jurgis Kasakauskis (Vilnius, 1832).
One of the most popular industrial decorated papers in 19th c., widely used even in the 20th century, was called “marbled Gustav's paper” (German: Gustavmarmorpapier). This paper decoration technique was intended to imitate the marbled paper.
