India's first Test match at the WACA Ground.

In the 1977-78 season India played their first Test match at the WACA Ground. Australia won the Test, which was played over 16-21 December, by two wickets. Outstanding performances included Bishen Bedi 5-89 and 5-105, and Sunil Gavaskar 177 while for Australia Bob Simpson 176, Sam Gannon 4-77 and nightwatchman Tony Mann 105.
