On February 28th 1980, the Andalusians were called to decide their future as an autonomous region by referendum. Facing an intense campaign for abstention by the Spanish Government, with the institutional media at its service and slogans that in the end would be counterproductive, such as "Andalusian, this is not your referendum", the institutional campaign of the Junta de Andalucía (the Andalusian government) succeeded in reaching the voters in a simple and direct way. This poster, which is already part of the collective memory of the Andalusians, is a good example.
