Interior of the Museum of Fairs

The Museum of Fairs is located in Medina del Campo. The only museum of its kind in the country, it illustrates the history of the usual merchandise and financial fairs in the 15th and 16th centuries, which placed Medina del Campo in a prominent position at the time.

This last room, "Simón Ruiz: merchant, banker and founder", is dedicated to the hospital that Simón Ruiz built at the end of his life using a good part of his fortune.
