Interpretations

It was performed in the 1980s, "Interpretations" is one of Annette Skarbek's earliest paintings. Only with the colors red and green, the artist exercises in this interpretation of the classics of the Renaissance: "Retrato de um jovem" by Antonio Pollaiuolo; "Retrato do comerciante Georg Gisze" by Hans Holbein the Younger; "O navio dos tolos" by Hieronymus Bosch; "Auto-retrato com luvas", by Albrecht Dürer, and "O Casal Arnolfini", by Jan van Eyck.
