Ironer for cotton webs

Casa Alvão, an important photographic establishment in Oporto, founded in 1902, made several clichés of iron foundry parts that were published in CIF's industrial machinery catalogues.
These include ironers for cotton webs and large machines weighing up to 15,000 kg, which are essential for the textile sector. The importance of these machines in CIF's sales volume explains their display on the factory walls, as can be seen in some of Casa Alvão's photographs.
