This sculpture has been conceived by the Abruzzi artist as a single block from which is engraved the shape that adapts the best to the original stone’s conformation: for this reason the still and enlonged figure seems to keep a continuity with the prime material because it covers her head without a real solution of continuity with her physiognomy.
The portrayed subject is the ancient Egyptian goddess Isis, goddess of motherhood and fertility, associated also to the nature of everything and regal dignity.
