Jaw bones

A cow's lower jaw bone prepared and used by men.The bones were hung by the cow shed to protect the cow from evil spirit which causes them disease.The idea behind the charm was that if part of the head of a dead cow was hung up, the living would be better able to fight against bad spirit.
