The Route of the Museums of Caesaraugusta

The Route of the Museums of Caesaraugusta
Zaragoza, Spain

Ceramic jug with a globular body, slightly flared neck, somewhat thickened and rounded lip and annular foot. It has a handle that starts at the edge and ends at the widest part of the body. On the outside it has a green glass, which does not cover the foot, and honey on the inside.

It is documented throughout the Late Middle Ages. Its appearance in the 13th century is related to new table habits, unprecedented in the Andalusian world and which relate it to the consumption of wine.
