Karl Böhm

While Karl Böhm made his first records for the Yellow Label during the war years, the Austrian conductor’s major achievements coincided with the firm’s golden age. At the end of the 1950s and during the 1960s, the conductor made most of his recordings with the Berlin Philharmonic and the Vienna Philharmonic.
