Fabaceae, Planst of the Chicago Region. Sugar maple dominated woodland with sparse groundcover. Tree at least 60 ft. tall. A few scattered trees noted. With Acer saccharum, Fraxinus americana saplings, Fraxinus quadrangulata saplings, Gymnocladus dioicus seedlings and saplings, Hackelia virginiana, Ostrya virginiana, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Phryma leptostachya, Solidago flexicaulis, Toxicodendron radicans.
