The Morton Arboretum

The Morton Arboretum

Lisle, IL, United States

The Morton Arboretum is the champion of trees, working through scientific study, conservation, education, advocacy, and outreach to plant and protect trees in a 1,700-acre outdoor museum, in Chicago-area communities, and around the world. More than a million guests visit our living laboratory each year to see trees collected from America, Asia, and Europe, to learn how to care for trees and the ecosystems they anchor, and to hike more than 16 miles of trails through majestic Midwestern forest, restored prairie, and water features ranging from idyllic lakes to the DuPage River. The Morton Arboretum has pursued its goal to create a greener, healthier, more beautiful world where people and trees thrive together since 1922.
