Yeongjo’s own composition of an ode to his first child crown prince Hyojang’s (1719-1728) funeral. It was written before the coffin was borne out (24th Jan 1729), when the ritual of offering the drink (4th Jan 1729) and tea (23rd Jan 1729) was held. Crown prince Hyojang’s name was Haeng and posthumous name was Hyojang. He was installed a crown prince in 1725 but died after three years. His half brother Jangheon became the heir to the throne. But crown prince Jangheon died as a prince, so his adopted son Jeongjo became the king, and crown prince Hyojang was given a posthumous title of Jinjong. His tomb is Yeongneung located in Paju city in Gyeonggi province.
