King Yeongjo own Four-syllable Poem, Calligraphic Works by Himself

The writing of Yeongjo written in spring 1770 (Year 46 of yeongjo). He composed a four-word line poem himself to celebrate his longevity and wrote it in a semi-cursive writing. This one is a printed book and on the top right is written ‘eopil’ which shows that the writing was Yeongjo’s, and in the bottom left is written ‘gyeongin’ which shows the date. It is a valuable work showing Yeongjo’s semi-cursive writing. * Text and annotation 暮年逢春  /  I see spring again at this old age 深祝有年  /  Wish there could be a good harvest this year too.
