The 21st king of Joseon, king Yeongjo, compiled a book out of passages from the classics, and exemplary political ideals from the wise kings. He published this to discipline himself and give advice to the crown prince. The book consists of inside and outside versions of 2 volumes 1 book. A Chinese character version published in 1746 (Year 22 of Yeongjo), and Korean annotated and copied version exist.
