This document was presented to Jo On (1347-1417) in 1398 (year 7 of Taejo) to reward him with land for his achievement in the first revolt of the princes. Jo On was the second class meritorious subject and in the second revolt of the princes, he ranked the fourth of Jwamyeong meritorious subject. 29 people were awarded in the first revolt, and Jo On was appointed as the second meritorious subject. This document records the location and the size of the land (151 gyeol) he received. This document is helpful in understanding early Joseon period meritorious subject document system.
