"Two items of jewelry are currently in use for ladies' belts—the buckle, which is used to attach the belt, and the open hook, which is placed on the belt and from which a watch or other object is suspended. This buckle, with its exposed metal point, has the disadvantage of catching the fabric and sometimes hurting your hands when they touch the belt. The open hook has the double disadvantage of moving around the belt as the wearer moves, exposing the watch as soon as they bend down. The invention aims to avoid the disadvantages of these items by combining them into one, thus creating a completely new, previously unseen product that fulfills the purpose of both buckle and hook."
