Ladle made at Kairi by male craftsman kaboshi from wood of mukurwe tree. It is cut with an adze, thia,(chisel), knives and smoothened with sandpaper leaves. It is used for different sized pots and sometimes one type ladle is kept specifically for food. The ladle is cleaned by dipping it in hot water.
