Set of 36 lead soldier figures. 28 of them are on foot (5.5 x 2 x 2 cm) and 8 on horseback (5.5 x 2 x 2 cm). They are copies of foot and horse solders from the regiments of regulars who fought in the North African conflicts until 1927. The procedure used to produce lead toys consisted of melting the metal between two sheets of slate. The liquid passed through a vertical channel and filled the holes of the cast, that had been produced beforehand with the model of the toy. Once cold, the mould was opened and the rough edges were removed.
