A medal from the 1971 Women's World Cup in Mexico, awarded to England player Leah Caleb.

All players who participated in the tournament received these medals. England qualified for the six-team tournament ahead of Austria, Sweden and the Netherlands, but finished bottom of Group A, succumbing to defeats against Argentina and Mexico respectively.

Harry Batt's side would take a 2-1 lead over France in the fifth place playoff, Janice Emms - mother of Olympic silver medallist badminton player Gail - netting both goals. However, the French would turn it around to win 3-2 at the Azteca Stadium.
