Los Millares Society
The diet of Los Millares depended to a great extent on cereal-based agriculture, and particularly on barley, followed by wheat and legumes such as peas and beans. Stock-reading, hunting, and wild olive and acorn harvesting also contributed to the diet.
The consumption of mountain meat was a minor contribution to the diet, if compared to that of domestic animals. The hunting activity included game hunting, which was associated to the prairies or light forests (wild boars, deer, urus), and mountaintop hunting (wild goat).
