View of Legnica from the side of a frozen quagmire near Czarna Woda in the northern part of the city. A large part of the composition is occupied by an ice rink created on a frozen bog and people skating on skates, shoes or a chair on skids. On the left, on the shore, a group consisting of: a man with a broom, children, a man with skates and a dog. The steel engraving is based on a drawing by Blätterbauer from 1866.
