Liberation of Kigali

Following the capture of several key military installations in and around the kigali city, Mount Kigali, one of the three imposing hills overlooking the city and one of the key strategic positions of the genocidal forces in the City of Kigali was captured on July 4th 1994, effectively liberating the capital.
