The tasks of a National Library are diverse. Among these, we have the management and collection of the Legal Deposit of all bibliographic or special material, printed, produced, transmitted and / or distributed in Peru. The purpose of the Legal Deposit is to collect, increase, preserve and disseminate the National Bibliographic, Computer and Informative Heritage in general; as well as to exercise the National Bibliographic Control.
