A Korean written document about the process of memorial ritual held at Gyeonghyojeon during the reign of Gwangmu. Gyeonghyojeon was a shrine which kept a mortuary tablet of Gojong’s empress Myeongseong (1851-1895), and its name came from the renaming of Mungyeongjeon of Gyeongungung. When Empress Myeongseong was assassinated at Eulmi incident in 1895, same year October, the funeral was held. At each joint of 10 ritual stages, red tag was used to make sure it followed the strict protocol.

  • Korean caption: 광무연간에 경효전(景孝殿)에서 행해진 묘현례(廟見禮) 절차를 한글로 정리한 홀기. 경효전은 고종의 비 명성황후(明成皇后, 1851~1895)의 신주를 봉안한 혼전(魂殿)으로 경운궁(慶運宮)의 문경전(文慶殿)을 개칭한 것이다. 1895년 을미사변으로 명성황후가 시해되자 같은 해 10월에 장례를 치르고 설치하였다. 10여 차례의 절차 마디마다 붉은 첨지를 붙여서 예의에 어긋남이 없도록 대비하였다.
